Secondary Schools Zone
We've put together some ideas for how you can help bring Thanet Earth to life for your pupils. Please bear with us as these resources are something of a work in progress at the moment.
Our ultimate aim is to have this section of our site tailored to the curriculum by age group and topic. Given that Thanet Earth can be used to support learning in Science, Geography and in a context setting then this gives us quite a lot of ground to cover! Please keep checking back here for new resources.
If you use these ideas or worksheets in your classroom then please help us to improve things by giving us your comments. We really want to make this section as useful as possible for you, so all feedback is gratefully received.

- Build your own Greenhouse
Thanet Earth for teachers - your essential PowerPoint resource. Download this file and view the notes for each slide to help understand and explain Thanet Earth and its context. Please be patient - it's a fairly large file! We've noted where it's a good place in the presentation to include our video.
NEW - The Cucumber Challenge - a presentation with a group challenge in the style of The Apprentice. Can your students find a profitable way to manage our waste? Developed together with the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
The Cucumber Challenge Team Sheet - print out of task instructions.
